How often will I need further review?

This will be based on your individual circumstances (for example: age, race, stage and type of your glaucoma and stability of your glaucoma).

It is usually once every 2-4 months for very advanced and unstable glaucoma, whereas this could be once every 6-12 months for early and stable glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

Mr Raj will individualize your glaucoma treatment and risks and will advise you appropriately regarding further follow up appointments.

Please note that as glaucoma is a progressive disease, therefore, you will require serial visual field tests and special scanning of the optic nerve and retinal nerve fibres to objectively ascertain the rate and depth of your glaucoma progression.
