Sight is our number 1 priority

Sight is probably the most important and most valuable of all the human senses. As we live longer we are increasingly at risk of age related eye diseases which can affect and impair our vision if not properly cared for. Glaucoma & catarcts are two such eye conditions that can cause visual handicap. Though surgical treatment for cataract is almost curative, unfortunately Glaucoma is mostly not curable.

Glaucoma is a serious and potentially blinding disease and needs appropriate and timely examination, diagnosis and treatment by a glaucoma expert.

Mr Raj is a consultant ophthalmologist in the NHS, more specifically he is a glaucoma consultant & specialist who could help you with quite a few of your eye care needs, especially Glaucoma. His expertise in comprehensive and complex glaucoma management and management of complex and challeging cataract surgery have been acquired and accomplished over 18 years of specialist and super-specialist training in few of the best medical institutions in India and in the UK. He is a full time NHS consultant ophthalmologist based in West Midlands, UK. He will help you with a thorough eye examination to rule out or confirm the presence of Glaucoma. He will offer you appropriate treatment should you be diagnosed with the condition, be it eye drops, various laser procedures or different glaucoma drainage surgeries suited to and tailored for your eyes. He has 18 years years of extensive experience in ophthalmology. He is an expert in small incision (stitchless) cataract surgery called 'phacoemulsification' and can offer surgery for all types of cataract including the most complex and challenging cataracts.

Hope you will find the information on this website useful and that this will help you take good care of your eyes.
