Care Plus : Private Eye care in the NHS
Care Plus is the provision of private eye care at the eye department in Russells Hall Hospital.
It has the following advantages and suitable for those patients who want to be seen on their own terms of quick time and convenience.
1. If you want care in our NHS hospital (Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley) but do not want to wait for the usual waiting time for an appointment or laser treatment or surgery.
2. This allows you to jump the NHS queue; however, if you want to be cared in the NHS following the initial care at Care Plus, that may be organized as well.
3. You may also avail this facility if you are not eligible for the NHS care/ NHS care criteria.
4. This does not affect the usual care at the NHS of any NHS patients, this is provided by creating extra capacity/facility usually beyond the usual NHS hours. The revenues generated is usually reinvested by the hospital to further improve the NHS patient care.
5. You may be able to choose a date/time for your consultation, laser or surgery under Mr Raj at your most suitable time.
