If the cataract has been removed completely and safely by a routine cataract surgery, actual cataract is not known to grow back again. Cataract is essentially opacification of the natural lens in the eye and it is the lens (except the capsular layer that envelopes the lens) that is removed in cataract surgery.
However, as stated in the earlier topic 'After Cataract' the residual capsule (importantly the posterior capsule) may become opaque and cloudy in months and years after the cataract surgery.
If this condition is visually significant, this can be easily treated using 'Yag' laser in an out patient setting. Mr Raj has vast experience in managing this condition and can help you if required.
